Internal communication
| No company can succeed without
an excellent system for internal information and communication.
If the quality of this system is compromised, the organization
is rapidly weakened. Improving or perfecting internal communications
can make an organization more robust and operational. An organization
should implement its internal communications policy with the
Personnel function at its hub. This department should have a
major role in its implementation and maintenance. However, to
be efficient, the communications system must constantly be monitored
to identify any gaps or dysfunctions, and adjusted accordingly. |

An appropriate method (such as surveys, studies,
discussion groups) should result in clear and significant metrics.
These will provide decision makers with a useful barometer to make
them aware of the information levels of employees, customers, and
consumers, their degree of confidence in the communication system,
and the image they have of the organizational values, operations
and products.
